For those that live in England, you may be aware that we are entering a new stage of the ‘end of lockdown roadmap’ on April 12th. After this date, some lockdown rules are easing. Most notably, travel no longer needs to be solely for essential purposes and friends can meet outdoors. Here we have created a handy guide, explaining which catering services we can provide, and which you need to wait slightly longer for.
After April 12th, the hospitality industry can begin to reopen. This includes outdoor seating for pubs and restaurants, as well as entertainment such as zoos and cinemas. Non-essential shops can also reopen, since the ‘stay at home’ mandate is easing, and travel no longer has to be for essential purposes only.
For life events, we can provide our usual catering services to a reduced number of guests. For weddings, wakes and other similar ceremonies, up to 15 guests can attend. We can provide a variety of catering options, including Hog Roast Minehead’s famous slow-roast, a BBQ menu, or formal sit-down catering.
Outdoor gatherings are also allowed, with either 6 guests or 2 households. This makes it possible for friends and family to meet outside in public or in a private garden. We can offer our gourmet meal delivery service for casual social meetings, which includes delicious food dropped off at your doorstep. This is a contact-free way to enjoy Hog Roast Minehead’s food, while still following current government guidelines. Our meal delivery service is available to individual households, or for gatherings of up to 6 people/2 households. This can make a nice change from preparing and cooking dinner for yourself- and you get to eat a delicious meal!
Are you looking to enjoy some Hog Roast Minehead catering after April 12th? If so, get in touch today to get booked in. We are also taking advanced bookings for when our regular catering services can resume, so book in today to avoid disappointment. We hope to hear from you soon!
