Catering manager Mark had the grill fired up well ahead of the lunchtime serve, making sure everything was timed just right. The non-meat-eaters weren’t an afterthought either. Veggie burgers and grilled vegetable skewers – with optional halloumi, tzatziki, chilli sauce and flatbreads – gave plenty to get stuck into. Then came the sides: seasonal green leaf salad, homemade coleslaw, and a mix of sweet potato and classic fries with enough sauces and seasonings on the table to keep everyone customising their plates well into the afternoon.
Nobody went home hungry. More importantly, nobody spent the day worrying about feeding people – because thanks to Hog Roast Cardiff that part was already sorted.
