During the summer, Simon contacted Hog Roast Gidleigh to enquire about our catering options, requiring a menu for his upcoming anniversary. This year he is celebrating 10 years with his wife and planned to host an event for their friends and family. The catering needed to be suitable for 60 guests, including a vegetarian option for meat-free guests. After a discussion with our catering manager Adam, we decided that our Classic Hog-Roast menu was the perfect choice.
On the day of the event, our catering team arrived well in advance to prepare the menu for the 17:00 mealtime. To begin with, we slow-roasted the hog to perfection, ensuring that it was packed full of natural juices and flavours. We also prepared a delicious vegetarian option of BBQ pulled jackfruit. Both main dishes were served with fresh bread rolls and a selection of side dishes, including seasonal vegetables and homemade chips. This created a delicious and balanced meal, with something for every guest to enjoy.
We served the catering buffet style, with guests able to create their ideal meal from what we had to offer. The level of formality was well-suited to the event and our catering prepared the guests for a night of entertainment with the happy couple! We had lots of fun catering for this anniversary and we loved providing this classic menu!
