We are enjoying some great weather down here on the English Riviera and that makes our job cooking hog roasts that bit more enjoyable. We catered a hog roast in Dartmouth just down the road from the farm this weekend and it was a great success. We do hog roasts all over Devon so it is nice when we get an event just down the road. This event was not just for a hog roast in Dartmouth but a bbq as well which allowed us to really get stuck in. We had the charcoal fired up and the pig ready to serve from 1pm and from then on it was all systems go cooking food fresh to order from the bbq accompanied by excellent pig rolls with all the trimmings. There was a selection of salads to go with the food and all followed by local strawberries and cream. What a treat and judging from the empty plates a well received treat. By 4pm it was job done and back to base.
