Hog Roast Haccombe Prepares For A Haunted House Halloween Party

Here at Hog Roast Haccombe, we’re always searching for a new excuse to celebrate, and because of this, we consider ourselves very lucky to be included in events all year round, thanks to our wonderful customers and clients who trust us to make their special occasions even more, well, special! After all, who doesn’t love a great party? So, now that Halloween is just around the corner, you’ll find us getting ready to mark the holiday in the way we know best – by treating our patrons to one of our tantalisingly tasty slow-roasted pigs!

Hog Roast Haccombe There’s just nothing better on a crisp autumn night than biting into a steaming hot hog roast roll, filled to the brim with flavour-bursting pulled pork, sage and onion stuffing and crackling, with a delicious applesauce or crunchy coleslaw topping, while a bonfire flickers in the background and fireworks whistle and bang overhead. In the last few weeks, Hog Roast Haccombe has received loads of bookings for events of this nature, and we’re very much looking forward to celebrating the spooky season with Devon’s fellow spit roast enthusiasts.

As you can probably imagine, this has meant Adam, our catering manager, has been rushed off his feet preparing for all of these upcoming parties that we’ve been asked to attend. And among them all, we’ve been booked to cater at a large-scale adults-only fancy dress Halloween party that is set to take place in a warehouse-style venue nearby.

The client, Harry, plans to transform the location into the ultimate haunted house, where, after enduring a series of frightful tests, ticket holders will be treated to a scrumptious spit roast with mixed fries and salad sides from our Classic Hog Roast Menu. There will also be an organised fireworks display outdoors, plenty of Halloween-inspired games, and it goes without saying that guests are encouraged to dress suitably spooky to match the setting!

The Hog Roast Haccombe team can hardly wait for this upcoming event, but until then, we’re keeping ourselves busy by pencilling in more bookings for the coming months. So, if you’ve got a party coming up, why not give us a call?
