Hog Roast Kentisbeare’s catering dyad, Adam and Stacey, had a brilliant time working at a hen party last weekend! The outdoor-loving bride-to-be, Elena, had organised for herself and 20 of her gal pals to enjoy a relaxing weekend at a luxurious 5-star glamping spot on the coastline.
Nestled on the edge of a lush National Park with views overlooking the golden sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters of Devon’s coast, the idyllic location was perfect for the peaceful getaway that Elena had envisioned when she first started planning the trip. And to make the weekend feel even more spectacular, the client had arranged for Hog Roast Kentisbeare to serve our Classic Hog Roast Menu to the group on both days of their stay.
Adam and Stacey were thrilled to take part in this special occasion, and the soaring temperatures meant that cooking our traditional pig roasts didn’t take long at all, giving Hog Roast Kentisbeare even more time to focus on the presentation of the food than normal.
The delicious spit-roasted pig was served at 5pm each day and included fork-tender shredded pork meat, lightly salted crispy crackling, savoury sage and onion stuffing and homemade applesauce. Adam and Stacey had also prepared our famous gourmet coleslaw, along with a selection of side salads and a meat-free option of grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers with tzatziki dip for the girls to help themselves to.
Elena and her guests loved everything on offer, but they especially loved the Grazing Table that Hog Roast Kentisbeare prepared for them each afternoon! As the latest addition to our services, grazing tables, which incorporate a vast selection of breadsticks, dips, fresh fruits, rich-tasting cheeses, cold-cut meats, and so much more, have become a fast favourite among our new and old clients.
Hog Roast Kentisbeare is so pleased to say that Elena and her guests had a brilliant time thanks to Adam and Stacey’s incredible culinary skills and bubbly attitude, and they are now feeling refreshed and ready to dance the night away at the upcoming wedding.
