For many of us, December is a time for slowing down and reflecting on all that has happened over the course of the past year. From our more trivial moments, recounted by the likes of Spotify Wrapped, to our greatest accomplishments, it’s nice to take a moment out to ponder the adventure and celebrate how far we’ve come in twelve short months.
While Hog Roast Seaton certainly has no plans to slow down (it is our busiest time of the year, after all!), we still thought we’d hop on the bandwagon and share our own highlights of 2022!
What can we say? This year has been an exceptionally busy one for us! 2022 was the bounceback we needed after the coronavirus pandemic and all of the lockdowns that ensued as a result. And we are privileged to say that we received a tonne of support from locals, who entrusted Hog Roast Seaton with their most precious moments.
From birthday parties and Christenings to wedding celebrations, corporate shindigs and beyond, our team has handled a whole lot of wonderful events this year, and each one has been as unique as the last.
As for our favourite? Well, there’ve been so many great events that it’s simply too hard for us to pick…Seriously! Hog Roast Seaton has enjoyed every event we have the pleasure of attending, and we have fond memories of each. If you asked us which celebration we remember most, though, we’d have to say Christine and Jacob’s carnival wedding, which took place during the height of the summer heatwave!
Our Hog Roast Seaton catering managers, Adam and Stacey, had spent months helping the pair prepare for their big day, and when it finally arrived, it exceeded all of their expectations. From the atmosphere and entertainment to our stunning Southern Slow Roast buffet, this is one wedding that we’ll remember fondly for many years to come.
Another booking we attended around the same time was a LARPing event, which saw us serve a traditional hog roast following a re-enactment of the iconic Battle of Cynwit! The Hog Roast Seaton team had a brilliant time, and we still talk about it all these months later!
