When Sally booked us to cater a 50th birthday party at South Brent Old School Community Centre, she asked us for our highly popular Private Party Menu 1 for 70 guests – our pigs in buns (which we can also serve in wraps and for this event, we supplied both bread rolls and wraps). We’re proud to offer lots of alternative foods as well, as we want all of our guests to enjoy our food, no matter your dietary needs. In this instance, Sally asked for veggie skewers too and we added a little spicy kick to them and would serve them with wholemeal pittas and a tzatziki dip.
Our team arrived at the community centre in the afternoon to prepare the meat and start slowly roasting the hog for several hours. South Brent is a large village on the southern edge of Dartmoor and the community centre itself hires out various rooms to locals. By 8.30pm on this day, the venue was full of hungry guests celebrating the milestone birthday and not only did they love our delicious hog roast but everyone loved the veggie skewers too.
