This October, Hog Roast Sidmouth was pleased to be a part of a grand opening event for a brand-new community centre in Devon. The centre will be a great addition to the community so the staff wanted to attract as many guests as possible for the first day. There are all kinds of things planned for the grand opening event, including face painting, a balloon maker, discounts from local businesses, an itinerary of what to expect at the centre in future, and a delicious buffet served by our team. For the catering, we will be serving our BBQ menu, which will be perfect for the visitors to enjoy.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Sidmouth team began by arriving at the community centre early and preparing for the midday serving time. We set up our catering station in front of the centre and got to work on barbequing the dishes. For the mains, the guests could enjoy succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes were served in fresh bread rolls or gluten-free rolls. Additionally, we served a selection of sides, including homemade chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a variety of salad dishes. Our menu was a great addition to the event and was a huge success with everyone that attended. Our varied menu meant that there was plenty for everyone to enjoy and more than enough to go around.
