My aunt was especially pleased that Adam offered to change his gloves to accommodate her issues with gluten.
Several people commented that they were worried about the style of food. However, they were all very pleased with their Spitting Pig experience. Even our 15 month old son tucked into some chips and pulled pork!

Massive thank you to Spitting Pig for catering for our wedding! There was a great selection of canapés (our favourites were the halloumi and the mini Yorkshire pudding), that were also generous in portion size.
The staff were super accommodating in visiting the site before hand, and in being efficient in pack down, also we’re really friendly and helpful.
Both us and our guests loved the hog roast too!

It was brilliant! From start to finish.
It was so easy booking Spitting Pig for our small event. Adam was good at getting in touch closer to the date to run through the details and very patient with me in finding out about the venue set up. Once on site he just got on with setting up to stick to the time we’d agreed for service. The food was top notch - the pork succulent, the rolls fresh and the coleslaw absolutely delicious. Unsurprisingly there was little left over but that was gone later on in the evening anyway!
Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book a hog roast.

PS Thank you for the sauce! There was not that much left over by the time people had taken some home however we have 8 portions in the freezer and have eaten another few the last few days. I booked a hog roast for a memorial celebration for my late husband which we did on May 14th 2022.
From initial contact through to the day itself your professionalism and helpfulness was amazing, your tip to give raffle tickets so that all those invited were assured food was really helpful and the last minute increase in numbers was accommodated too - thank you.
Quite a lot of “ foodies” attended and I have had nothing but positive comments about the food since Saturday. A relative of my late husband was so impressed they are going to contact you for a quote to cater for their wedding!
The team that set up on the day were lovely they didn’t intrude at all on our time of remembrance and when serving the food had lovely smiles on their faces……….I have some great pictures of food service!

The whole experience dealing with Spitting Pig was so smooth with frequent communication and professional staff that allowed the day to run as according to plan.
The canapés went down a treat amongst everyone but the hog roast was by far the best part - the crackling was amazing! - and we had plenty of compliments from guests about the food.
There was more than enough for everyone, with leftovers neatly boxed up for us and nothing appeared to be too much for any of the staff.
Overall I couldn't fault a thing and would happily recommend this company to anyone looking for event catering. Will definitely be using again for future parties!

I am sorry that my feedback about our party that you catered last Saturday night is so late. We were absolutely delighted with the service .. all the young thought that the Hogroast was utterly delicious and so original , as did we ourselves. Indeed one of the vegetarians present broke ranks to eat some of the pig even, he could not resist! Also we thought Bas was amazing the way he coped with the whole thing single- handed ,setting up his “stand” quietly throughout riotous games of Beer Pong going on nearby and the rain that had started to fall. It was all beautifully and calmly set up , even with a Happy Birthday banner . He was so cheerful and friendly and left us some marvellous left - overs too at the end . It was all perfectly cooked and laid out with minimum fuss and resulted in lots of happy and full punters! We would most certainly consider using you again ,and recommending you to others!

The pig and accoutrements were delicious and all of our 80 guests cleared their plates. My wife was particularly impressed that you made sure she had a chance to eat, before the pig was further devoured by the “seconds” rush. The pig also stretched to a 3rd round of sandwiches to those hardcore, late night stalwarts - still delicious.
