If you fancy a different kind of meat served, like a tasty barbecue of burgers, ribs and sausages, or spit-roasted meat such as turkey, chicken, lamb or beef (or even something a bit more unusual), Hog Roast Whiddon Down can easily do that to cater for varying personal tastes. If you need an option or two to cater for special diets, whether it’s for personal reasons or due to an allergy or intolerance, our highly-experienced chefs can whip up suitable dishes, fresh on the day, and they’ll surely be loved just as much as our hog roasts.
We also offer special menus, one of which may well be the perfect way to celebrate your next special occasion, like our Loaded Fries, where we add beef or pork to fries and top with slaw and cheese, or our Southern Slow Roast, where you select three meats and four sides, and there’s even a vegetarian option available. Sometimes, though, one of our hog roasts all by itself is just the ticket. On Wednesday evening, we catered a party for a group of people who couldn’t wait to dig in to our famed pigs in buns, but first, they had to wait for the pig to cook to perfection, and when a hog roast looks and smells as good as one of ours, we know how difficult that can be! Once we had carved away and added the meat, crackling, apple sauce and stuffing to soft bread rolls, we could finally let them tuck in.
