When our talented Hog Roast Kentisbeare chefs aren’t cooking up a storm with a hog roast centrepiece, making it either into piles of pigs in buns or plated meals where you enjoy the meat and crackling together with either salads and coleslaw or vegetables, potatoes and our own onion gravy, we’re instead cooking one up with spit-roasted alternatives or dishes for special dishes or we’re preparing all kinds of tasty canapés, starters sides or desserts. You see, we’re so much more than our delicious signature food, so whatever you have in mind for your next special occasion, we’re sure we can satisfy both you and all of your guests on the day.
We’ve always understood the need for alternatives and extras, in order to ensure that everyone invited to your party or event can enjoy what we make, fresh on the day, and we won’t hold it against you if you decide not to order a traditional hog roast! We often impress with Hog Roast Kentisbeare spit-roasted brisket of beef, a whole English lamb or free-range turkeys or chickens instead, which you can enjoy your way too, such as with floury rolls and wraps or with your choice of vegetables and potatoes or salads and coleslaw.
If any of your guests need a dish to suit their diet, such as vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free, tell us when you book and we’ll help you to decide on the best option, such as vegan pulled jackfruit buns with slaw, vegetarian skewers with dips or even gluten-free pigs in buns. In terms of the latter, we can easily make our version of hog roast rolls suitable, simply by taking along suitable rolls and wraps, but we need to know in advance so that we’re prepared. We also have our own standalone menus available, including our Southern Slow Roast, Loaded Fries, Traditional Barbecue and Alfresco, though if preferred, you can design your own menu from scratch, with or without our help.
